Metal: Branching out

When you stand underneath a tree and look up, you can see many interwoven branches, which reveal light, space and shadows. As the wind blows through the leaves new patterns are formed. This collection focuses on the vibrancy, rhythm and spatial features of the trees and communicates the beauty of nature through metal.

This jewellery collection replicates the variety of patterns formed when branches are blown in the wind. Layered metals and delicate jour silver plate are the key materials. In the design the jour's flexibility, adaptability and complex layered textures creates a sense of trees and forests that call to mind the intimacy of feeling close to nature, combined with the pleasure of wearing a unique jewellery experience.
